Jack Casey is a Script Editor based in London. With an empathic, story-centric approach to script development, he specialises in developing projects with writers from underrepresented and marginalised communities, and whose work explores a wide range of lived experiences.

Jack script edited the forthcoming 6 part crime thriller The Crow Girl for Buccaneer Media and Paramount+, and the 6 part gothic thriller The Woman in the Wall for BBC One, Showtime and Motive Pictures, created by BAFTA-nominee Joe Murtagh and starring Ruth Wilson and Daryl McCormack. He was assistant script editor on series 27 of Silent Witness for BBC Studios, and is in development on numerous television projects with companies including Joi Productions and Keeper Pictures.

Jack is script editing on a a slate of feature films in development with companies including Netflix, BFI, BBC Film, Screen Ireland, Screen Scotland and Ffilm Cymru Wales, working with a number of BAFTA-winning and -nominated writers.

His short credits include BAFTA-nominated Wren Boys (Harry Lighton), BAFTA Cymru-nominated Father of the Bride (Rhys Marc Jones), and the Iris Prize-nominated Marco (Saleem Haddad), which he also produced.

Jack has worked as a script reader for companies including BBC Writersroom, Short Circuit and Film London, and as a script editor on the Channel 4 TV Drama New Writers Scheme, supporting writers from the West and South West of England. He has a background in talent development for BAFTA and BFI NETWORK, delivering programmes including BFI Flare x BAFTA Mentoring, Guru Live, NETWORK@LFF and BAFTA Breakthrough UK. He also has over a decade of experience working for film festivals including BFI Flare: London LGBTQIA+ Film Festival, BFI London Film Festival, Sheffield Doc/Fest and Sundance London.

He is represented by Kelly Knatchbull and Eva Bell at Sayle Screen.
